The Financial Services Compensation Scheme (FSCS)

The FSCS provides compensation if an authorised firm is unable to meet its financial obligations.

Cover depends on the nature of your claim:

• For investment business, most types are covered up to a maximum of £85,000 per eligible person, per firm.

• For insurance business, protection is generally 90% of the claim with no upper limit.

Please note that the FSCS does not cover losses arising solely from poor investment performance.
We will always inform you when FSCS protection does not apply.
